Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has responded to reports involving an alleged dressing room disagreement between teammates Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde.
Recent reports claimed that both midfielders were involved in a confrontation inside the dressing room, with suggestions that the club later sanctioned the players.
However, Mbappe refused to confirm the reports while speaking after Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Real Oviedo on Thursday.
Mbappe Says He Did Not Witness Incident
Speaking during his post-match interview, the French forward explained that he was not present when the alleged incident happened.
According to Mbappe, he left the area without knowing what took place between the two teammates.
“I wasn’t there, so I can’t confirm what happened,” Mbappe said.
He added that the information available to him was the same as what had already been reported publicly.
Real Madrid Yet To Fully Address Situation
Although reports suggested that Real Madrid imposed disciplinary measures on the players, the club has not publicly provided full details regarding the alleged altercation.
The incident has continued to attract attention among football fans and Spanish media following Real Madrid’s recent matches.
Despite the controversy, the club secured an important victory against Real Oviedo, with players now shifting focus to upcoming fixtures.
