According to a statement released by his media team, the account identified as @goodluck_ebelejonathan is not affiliated with the former president and should be regarded as fake.
Jonathan Says He Has No Personal Instagram Account
Jonathan’s media aide, Ikechukwu Eze, clarified that the former president does not own, operate, or manage any personal Instagram account.
The statement stressed that individuals interacting with the account could be misled into believing they are engaging with the former Nigerian leader.
Officials urged the public to exercise caution when encountering social media pages claiming to represent Jonathan.

Jonathan’s office claimed the profile sometimes presents itself as a fan page while at other times allegedly impersonating the former president directly.
