Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Katsina, Nigeria, and across the world as they mark the 2026 Eid-el-Adha celebration, urging prayers for peace, unity, and national stability.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, the governor described the Islamic festival as a period of reflection on faith, obedience, and sacrifice, values he said are essential for both leadership and citizens.
Radda noted that the spiritual significance of the Day of Arafat represents a powerful moment for divine mercy and answered prayers, encouraging Muslims to use the occasion to seek peace and security for Nigeria.
He also reflected on the lesson of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to God, describing it as a timeless guide for responsible leadership, especially during challenging national moments.
The governor extended goodwill to pilgrims performing the 2026 Hajj, praying for their safe return and acceptance of their worship.
Radda further called on citizens to strengthen unity, support the less privileged, and promote compassion within communities, stressing that these values lie at the heart of Islam.
