Former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has explained the reasons behind his political alliance with Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Kwankwaso said the partnership reflects a return to the historical political cooperation between Northern leaders and the South-East region.
According to Kwankwaso, the North has a long history of political collaboration with leaders from the South-East.
